  • no many of them dieing now for any british or american soldier is sad but most of all is the scottish as im scottish i care most of all for us scots

  • @3tangle3 Where do you get your ideas that scottishness is a culture but the UK is a corporation? I am Scottish, I was a soldier, I swore an oath whilst serving as do all of the armed forces. I joined the army because I wanted to see the world & came from a poor backround & I got to see some beautiful places. I also had to do my job as a soldier. This song is about a dying soldier, not an independance campaign or a humanist ideaology. Can't you just appreciate the song as it is?

  • @3tangle3 Will do mate!! Song does'nt mention fuel poverty or the crown (& the 2 have no connection btw) so, yeah,, whatever!!

  • arent we all just humans...at least scottishness is a culture...not a corporation called UK

  • @andy81andy007 why do you swear an oath to a queen who takes your taxes while old people die of fuel poverty.....are you sick........the army is a great place to be brainwashed.....please wake up :)

  • A fine rendition this tune is..
