Thanks- I've never really been all that 'edgy' so you're probably right about the jaded and cynical analysis. I'll always be more flowers and chintz than metal and leather. Someone has to be the middle of the road and 'spose that's me, Mighty Boosh is as 'cool' as I gets.

We all have different ideas of what makes something funny, variety spice and life etc.

In my previous comment I rather unfairly dissed all Aussie humour when in fact it brought us Kath and Kim, Barry H Strictly Ballroom.

I still think this clip is unoriginal and unfunny though, but respect your right to rofl over it to your heart's content....

@ticketyboooo It's personal preference. I personally need something more edgy than "bogans in the 'burbs". The Chaser's comedy isn't for everyone, in fact it is quite a particular taste. If you prefer the likes of Kath and Kim, Barry Humphries etc. I would call you the opposite of jaded and cynical as most of the Chaser's stuff only resonates with the cynical and jaded. K&K and BH is far more soft comedy.

@ticketyboooo Kath and Kim is hardly the pinnacle of Australian comedy, Australian comedy is almost a non existence, sitcoms usually fail its satire that Australia excels at but this is just another cheap filler for the chasers to make jokes about nerds with, far from thier social commmentry bread and butter standards

Yeah, This Dr Who thing is actually quite strange. Here in Australia, people who watch it are generally considered to be geeks or nerds. However, apparently in Britain ALOT of people watch it, and its almost considered weird not to watch it.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
