Monster Hunter Freedom - Basics: Finding Raw Meat

I've previously done a walkthrough (not really, more so of a runthrough) of the original Monster Hunter for the Sony PlayStation 2 & I was quite satisfied with the views/comments I received from the viewers, (thank you all very much) so I've decided to take an extra step & do a walkthrough for my second favorite game, Monster Hunter Freedom for the Sony PlayStation Portable!

I won't be uploading them one at a time, but in sets. Such as all 1 star quests, and all 2 star quests. I'm uploading this video to tell you all that I am getting started & have not given up on this, thank you all for your support. Especially a certain somebody who requested this much more than anyone else (:

Unlike the other walkthrough, I will only be recording the quests. (because that's all that really matters, last time I recorded everything.. alot of pressure on me there lol) This would technically be the first quest of the game, if you chose "Beginner" at the start menu when creating your character this quest will appear as your "Urgent Quest", that's what I chose so I'm starting with this.

You start off at "camp" no monsters can reach you here, so you're safe. Inside the hut/tent, there is a bed that you can lay in that heals you if your health has been reduced, keep this in mind for the future, you'll want to save your healing items.

The blue box at camp contains supply items, which are free, so be sure to take them if needed. The items that are considered "Supply item" are removed from you at the end of the quest, so don't go saving them expecting to take them back with you.

Knowing your items:

First Aid Med: Restores Health (green bar)

Ration: Stamina boost (yellow bar below health bar)

Mini Whestone: Restores sharpness (sword icon on screen, game will inform you when your weapon has been dulled & is in need of sharpening, sharpening is very important, remember that)

A fairly simple quest, the Village Chief gives you instructions on how to use your weapon as well, so if you're new to the game be sure to read up on the weapon you're currently using or intend on using.

You carve monsters by press the "Circle" button, not all monsters can be carved twice.

After you've carved/gathered the necessary or desired amount of items from the monster/plants/dung pile, head back to camp and deliver 2x pieces of Raw Meat by pressing the "Circle" button in front of the Red Box.

you know where you first killed that giant thing theres a pile of rocks but its really their poo and has some really rare scales in them if your lucky you get them when you search through it.

Kut-Ku Scales, yups! (:

those scales are only found in that pile o poo or just kill the kut ku wyvern i think and get more kut ku items

There is actually quite a few areas where to find Kut-Ku scales, it's possible to find them in area 1, 2, 6, and 9.

lol I once had this game and it was really fun untill this one part that I kept getting pissed so I broke it! Now I regret breaking the BEST PSP game :(... great walkthrough or wtv tho 5/5

@MoisesL Don't Forget about area 5. You can find them there also. It is more likely since it is inside a wyvern den/house/cave. But there is almost always velociprey if not a wyvern in the ara so it is a little tricky if you are a starter.

@soldato777 demondrug is obtained by combining a power seed + catalyst and catalyst is obtained by combining honey + bitterbug ;D
