Man I couldn't believe Earnhardt walked away on his own power. In my book the toughest son of a bitch to ever walk on this earth. I still can't believe 2001 was the tragic year we had

Couldn't agree more. Especially after his 96 Talladega wreck, you woulda thought he would have to be cut from the car, which they were going to do. But "stubborn ole' Earnhardt" said I'll get out on my own, even with a broken shoulder, collarbone and I believe he broke his sternum too. That man was a tough son of a bitch. There wont be another one like him either, thats the very sad part.

"Neither Gordon Nor Jarret touched him" as Jarret slams into the back of him lol.

from the type of man dale was, i bet if you could ask him if he would do it again even if it would have the same outcome, he would say yes...

That Ford got his ass again!

Jeff squeezes Dale into the wall, gets the caution he needs to gang up on Bill Elliott with his teammates, and wins his first Daytona 500.

Oh, I know it. The 1996 Talladega was the worst one Dale had. They was going to cut him from the car, but nope, despite a broken shoulder, collarbone and all, still he walked away from that one. Your right about one thing: There won't be another one like him again

that is the first race i have a clear memory of Irvan's hood went up in the stands and hurt a fan. Dale Sr came back out all taped up. Hendrick cars Gordon, Terry Labonte, Craven finished 1,2,3

that was hilarious when he got out of the ambulance and started it to finish the race lol.

I agree, I watched that race! How the hell did Dale lost it when he bumped him!
Did anybody died or got hurt from Ernie Irvan's Hood when it went to the Grandstands.

Two fans suffered minor injuries, but that's all, from what I remember.
