Selena: *Walks into the cafeteria* *Looks around*
Selena's POV
Slowly, I perused the room, holding my lunch. I had categorized each table. There were the jocks (all of which I have dated and occasionally, slept with), cheerleaders (all of which hate my ass), nerds, neutrals, stoners, and preppys.
Then I saw Joe. He entered the lunchroom with his friends. I was just about to head over when I saw Joe stop and let his friends pass by. Joe looked around and opened the staff cafeteria door. I saw him practically yell at a boy a few inches shorter than him. The boy stood up, wearing a black leather jacket, looking at Joe as if he did nothing wrong. Joe looked down, clearly upset. The boy backed away and walked out of the lunch room.
I never saw this boy at this school in my life.

Selena: *Confused and walks to their lunch table, sits next to Demi*
Demi: Hey, girl.
Selena: Hey. Who's that guy Joe was talking to?
Demi: *Looks around* What? What boy? Was he cute?
Selena: Couldn't tell if he was or wasn't, but his style was good.
Demi: Then his face must be too.
Selena: So you've never seen him?
Demi: What was he wearing?
Selena: A leather jacket, black skinny jeans, white loose v-neck?
Demi: Nope. But his style is hot in this mysterious way. *Starts eating*
Joe: *Walks over and sits down next to Selena* Hey, babe. *Kisses her neck*
Selena: Hey, who was that guy you were talking to?
Joe: Mmm, what?
Selena: You came in and you were talking to a guy..
Joe: Nope, you sure you got 20/20 vision?
Selena: *Confused* Whatever.
Joe: Good word choice. *Starts kissing her*
Selena: *Kisses back*

Selena: *Pulls out the paper from her pocket, looking at the room number* *Bites her lip and looks up* 201. *Walks inside and sees a bunch of kids inside*
Selena's POV
When I walked inside, I saw the teacher reading a book, the majority of students sleeping but then my eye got caught. In the back of the room sat the boy Joe was talking to. Extremely handsome. He looked up from his book, his gaze caught on me..
Suddenly, within me I got this giddy, excited feeling. I never got this before. He leaned back, his expression unreadable.

Teacher: The only empty desk seems to be next to Nicholas, Selena. I suggest you hurry over before I hold you for over time.
Selena: *Gets whacked back into reality* 'Kay. *Walks over to the seat next to Nick and sits down*
Nick: *Sits up straight, closing his book, digs through his backpack and grabs a paper* *Writes on it and tosses it on Selena's desk*
Selena: *Looks at him but he's back to reading his book* *Opens the paper*
Hey, what got yourself into this part of the school at this hour?
Selena's POV
What a typical question, but it was nicely phrased. I pondered whether or not to reply that I had a "boyfriend" if that's how I even considered Joe.... He was more of a void to fill at certain times.
I gripped my pen and reminded myself that I was a player and it didn't matter. Or did it?

Selena: *Writes* Making out. *Tosses it over to his desk*
Selena's POV
I watched him unwrap the paper and read the words, as if they were saying "Talking in class." He grabbed his pencil and wrote a reply.

Nick: *Tosses it to her desk*
Doesn't surprise me that a girl like you would be doing that.
Selena: *Offended and replies* What's that supposed to mean? *Tosses it to him a little harshly*
Nick: *Opens the paper* I've heard about you, is all. *Tosses back*
Selena: *Writes* How come I haven't heard or seen you before then? *Tosses*
Nick: *Writes* So I can be another one of your victim's? No thanks. I like to be in the shadows. *Tosses*
Selena: *Writes* That's a little stupid. *Tosses*
Nick: *Writes* And how is that? I've been able to meet every girl any how. *Toss*
Selena: *Writes* What are you? A player too, then? *Tosses*
Nick: *Writes* You could call me that. More of a subtle player, none the less. *Toss*
Selena: *Writes* A player who reads during detention? *Toss*
Nick: *Writes* I can't fall asleep, what if a girl like you strolls in here? *Toss*
Selena: *Smiles a little and begins to write a reply*
Teacher: *Standing at Selena's desk* *Clears his throat, his hand stretching out*
Selena: *Embarrassed and hands it over*
Teacher: *Walks back to his desk* Another hour for you two.
