Cool video. Single car Railroading is where it's at. Hopefully, they can score a deal and keep serving that company. RiceLake, it that the end of the line for them. As far North as the Wisconsin Norhtern goes? Do they have a weekday turn up the line?

@KAdE21pf north to Bloomer for the WN. If you have a Yahoo! account you should join the Wisconsin Northern group. It tells a lot of information about the railroad and has pictures, etc.

@1995cnw1 My dad see's them a lot in chetek when he is working. I was told by my Yahoo! Group that they just sprayed the track because they sprayed the whole line. I was also told they have been trying to get service with B.M. but the competition with trucks is too hard. Not the greatest news.. But there's always a chance.. The spur in Bloomer is for WRR, a company in Eau Claire that used to have an unloading station in Chippewa Falls but CN doesn't ship the right materials anymore so they moved
I don't think they deliver to Birchwood Manufacturing anymore.. :(

@KAdE21pf They haven't takin in about 8 months but their is still four log cars sitting in birchwood Manufacturings yard and i was up their on the Fifth of July of this year and they sprayed the tracks to kill the weeds so if they did that they must be planning something.

@1995cnw1 Great news!!!!! I used to see the CN deliver here when I lived in Rice Lake, there was more service when the other business was there, but I believe it burnt down, not sure, I was too little to remember.

@KAdE21pf Yes it is great news. The short line company is outstanding. When I was up their the fifth I stumbled upon a brand new spur they built for a business in Bloomer and they are building a sand plant in Chippewa on the shortline and a few other business's that are looking at the line and talk of them putting the tracks back in to a north industrial park in Rice Lake where Toys scrap is. I love railfanning these guys.
