When exactly is Shaoey's birthday? Random question, I know, but I was just curious...she is such an adorable little girl, as are Stevey Joy and Maria. I have never heard of the name Shaohannah before, but it really does sound pretty...it kind of gives a nod to her Chinese heritage and somehow blends in Hannah, which is a popular American name.
They said they felt like Abraham and Sarah having a child in their old age so they wanted to use the Chinese word for laughter, which is Shao, and Hannah means "God's grace". With all three adopted girls, the Chapmans kept their Chinese first names as part of their names - so her full name is Shaohannah Hope Yan Chapman.
they named her shaohannah because shao in chinese is something like xiow and it has a meaning but i forgot what it is and they have always liked the name hannah so they added it together
I actually really like the name Eleanore, that way we can call her Nore, Norah, Elle, or Ellie, or maybe even Lea or Leah, or even Leanne!!! DO you like that name?
