@shetlandkasie Yeah, I brought him back-I brought the whole lot back. I was so incensed with having no human being die at all on the journey I felt it only right. And how stupid to have only 2 Hedgehogs on the journey so NONE get to the park. In the book, there were dozens of each species apart from the birds, Toad, Mole, Fox, Weasel & Badger. But actually that pheasant you saw was just a park resident, he wasn't with the Farthing pack in the picture, but they have made mistakes before.

@CrazedCocoa Well they keep changing things from the book, often to the detriment of the animals and therefore our bleeding enjoyment. The mistake with Mrs Fieldmouse would never have happened cos in the book 'Fox's Feud' (about Scarface), Vole brings up why Kestrel is never around & Kestrel replies he hunts AWAY from the park cos there is the danger of striking the wrong rodent as they all look alike from up high! In the book, Lady Blue never took part in Scarface's schemes either.

This series is so dense and well written with all sorts of premonition and subtext, such as when Mrs Vole says she thought she "would die."

You know, I thought Lady Blue was really cool and pretty. She wasn't NEARLY as bad as Scarface, I think she was just under his orders.
And.. Measley is just so cute. <3
