The best thing to do if at all possible is to try to Live in as much privacy as possible. Living rural homeschooling kids with people of the same mindset. it seems these days people are budinsky's. also if you can dig up some dirt on the nosy neighbor for ammo that could help. a google search works wonders

She was probably just concerned, it sounds like you are making a big deal out of nothing. Isn't it dangerous to have a child near a running lawn mower anyway.

It sounds like her neighbours are Jehovahs witnesses if they offered her magazines and a book called the secret to family happiness, I am a Jehovahs Witness and as far as I am concerned if they are Jehovahs Witnesses then they should have a bit of cop on and take Jesus advice- he said- make it your aim to mind your own business, how dare they tell another person how to live thier lives, they should be concentrating on thier own family, god help whatever congregation she is in.

OMG that's bad. I have this nosy neighbor who tries everything to make contact with us when we walk out the door. She puts here kid out to sell kool aid and every time we would drive up into our drive way they start waving at us. After ignoring her she is now parking her mini van right in front of my house even though she lives diagonally across the street. I have to say it's getting to me now. I think she also wants us to go to her church. lame.
