"Her Secret is Patience" is a new monumental sculpture, completed in April 2009, by artist Janet Echelman. This multi-layered net form is located in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, between 1st and Central avenues. Inspired by cactus blossoms, the wide open desert skies, and the local fossil record of Phoenix, this sculpture moves fluidly in response to desert winds.
