I'm sorry, but retro spacecraft designs do not a future civilization make. Sad post-upheaval civilization wouldn't be making ships based on 1930's and 1940's rocket designs, but on designs from aircraft now. Also, the spacecraft designs seen in most sci-fi weren't (and aren't) 'rolled in model parts', but well-drafted and designed, like those of the 1979-1981 show.

Look guy, this project isn't being made by a big Hollywood studio, but by the same people behind 'Star Trek: Phase II', so nothing is stopping it except that the company's busy with Star Trek: Phase II, and can't do this. Also, I may not like Twilight, but all the same, I'm getting tired of the hate, and think that the people who are doing it are being immature and childish about it-grow up, and get a life. Twilight exists, and there's nothing you can do about it.
