John Edwards really nails this one. It's called a 3-point swooooosh !
He absolutely pins Obama for the mis- characterization of Reaganomics.
There is NO excuse for Obama's distasteful misinformation of Reagan !
Oh - Obama is "PANDERING" like Karl Rove for the moderate Republican vote.
It's hard to say how Obama votes - "Present" as a Illinois Congressman is like unisex - poor Barak... you just can't make up your mind !
Edwards what an example of moral leadership. HAHAHAHA Reagan is so much better!!!!!

I have to admit, this speech almost got me to switch over to Edwards. To see someone finally stand up to Ronald Reagan's horrible policies and the empty and blatantly contradicting propaganda and speeches he gave was truly inspiring. In the end, I realized that Obama's Reagan remarks were not meant as praise and that he would create fair and just policies for all, perhaps getting us out of this so called "Reagan Revolution". But man was I that close to switching to Edwards!

The only thing that Reagan changed is the values of the party, that's it. That ain't a good thing. Yet, you don't have one example of change that Reagan did bring to his party, because there really wasn't any change. Make a point next time. Obama needs to stop ripping off ideas from everyone else and think for himself for once.

Wrong. Obama is no fan of Reagans policies. He was pointing out, quite correctly, that Reagan did bring change to the Republican party, and Democrats need to do the same thing this year.
That's completely true. Look at what Reagan did for the GOP - Obama wants the democrats to take a deep breath and take back the title as the party of change, only with much better policies than Reagan. Get it?
Having suffered through the Reagan years, Obama is exactly right.
