whats the proper way to measure for a custom fit? i'm 5'10. i just need a starting point. i dont wanna have to build it twice. any help would be great. thanks

I am 6'2" and it works the same for people much shorter than you. Just make sure your chair is adjustable in height and you'll be fine. If you want to make it a true custom fit, take some measurements while you sit in the chair you plan on using. As long as the chair is adjustable the margin of error is several inches. Follow your gut feeling...have a friend measure while you mime it out...that's what i did...let me know if you have any more questions...happy building !

if you think about it the chair is more important than anything...just like a car you adjust the seat to the wheel. Go with your gut and you'll be fine dude...let me know if i can answer anymore Q's
