One of the all time great stories. My first remembered story with such a heart tugging surprise ending. O Henry was a great writer. John Steinbeck! My other favorite writer!

i must like him because he was from around where I kive. I live in Martinsville, Virginia, and he was from Greensboro, North Carolina, where my cousin lives.Just kidding, but my favorite is The Ransom of Red Chief best, though
