I recently got familiair with Delia Derbyshire, since then she haunts my thoughts;-) A true visionary woman! As a tribute i used one of her tracks in a technoset. @FlavioGirl She taught Pink Floyd! In an interview for Dr Who monthly she said "I remember having a really wild time with Pink Floyd. They wanted to learn all our secrets!" She explains that she opened up the Radiphonic Workshop out of working hours so they could come in. She doesn't mention Mike Oldfield.

I dont think Mike oldfield was off the same level music she made...i would link her too Bruce Haack tho...if you are interested in the beginning of experiment techno/ electro/ house or other mainstreams (what this is) then you should check Bruce Haack as well! great stuff! thx for upload!

Delia Derbyshire .. The Very name Echos around my head on a daily basis.
She has affected my Life to such an extent, that I would be a very different person if I never found her.
My biggest regret is never meeting her to thank her. I regret that so much that it hurts.
I wish she was alive today. The world has a massive gap in it, with her on the Planet. True Love is devoted love; the Love I have for her sound.
