When assembled together, these devices make a single channel system suitable for a simple digital amateur television station or repeater. The devices in this demo are set for high efficiency allowing a large number of virtual channels of capacity to be squeezed into a single multiplex but add considerable delay (approximately 2 seconds) and therefore not generally suitable for two way conversation but could be viewed on most consumer receivers using QAM. A low delay solution is available but requires the use of a professional decoder like the one shown in this video. The purpose of this video is to show the bandwidth required in the RF spectrum to transmit a fairly robust compressed video and 4 audio circuits using modest QPSK settings.
