  • The definative version of this song was done by the Four Lads ....in my opinion.

  • We are celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversay today, a friend of ours has guided to this video, it is great. Joan was a wonderful singer, who did not get the recognition she deserved.

  • What an artist.I think Joan was one of the most underated British singers. Thanks for posting this clip.

    Kind regards Concretejockey.

  • A nice touch of glamour. Women seemed to be much more attractive in those days. Nice voice, too. Very reminiscent of Vera Lynn.

  • Five years ago I did my first ever show. I could not believe my luck. I was in a line up with this young at heart lady. What an honour it was. She even asked to have a photo with me, a 'Nobody'. Even though she was not very well, she was fantastic. I was so thrilled to have met her and perform in front of her. I put her picture on my web site and love it. Thanks for posting.

  • A friend gave me the CD "Joan Regans greatest hits"a few years ago.I had never heard of her & reluctently played it.I still play it regularly.

  • I remember Alma Cogan was a friend of the beatles, don't know about Joan Regan. Alma Cogan was like Lambrusco to Joan Regan's Champagne

  • SAW JOAN IN CONCER IN EARLY 1990sSHE WAS STILL GREAT.

  • Wasn't Joan Regan a friend of the Beatles? Her publicity at the time stated that she was working in a bank or office and someone heard her singing to her self and as a result, she got signed to Decca!

    Nice vintage clip, Stephen.

  • I remember as a kid reading one of my sister`s girls comics about `Joan Regan, growing up`. I`ve never forgotten it. Stan
