omg green screen amstrad and playing this with a friend was so awesome! amazing retro memories, then walking into an arcade and seeing double dragon, then later final fight/vendetta
@woodpekkerfrommars Played the Spectrum 128 version where the notes didn't mess up. I think the sound effects on the Amstrad are messing up the music, whereas the Spectrum had an extra channel of sound provided by the 48k beeper for effects.
@LoLzZ85 Did you used to play it on the Amstrad? This is exactly how the music was. It used to mess up notes all over the place. All part of the charm.
This game was ahead of its time - if memory serves it preceded Double Dragon...you can't beat kneeing women in the groin and continuing to pummel enemies as they lay spark out on the ground. Good times! Thanks for posting.
Music is all over the place, must be a fault of the emulator? Spectrum version has better defined gfx and smoother animation it seems. Amstrad's advantage is the colour
i prefer the zx spectrum version to this, sure this one is more colourful but the spectrum version looks better! this guy walks like he's crapped himself.
