@Altairograph well, there are several ways to tackle someone in rugby, so it's possible I suppose; it really depends on how you choose to take them down. Personally, I have seen judo throws in rugby, but most of them have been at the breakdown rather than on a man with the ball. They're just going too fast to try it, really

@gcoote this isn't lacrosse..?
-
@nulla38 because they ware playing at murrayfield, Scotland are allowed to choose their home strip and nz have to wear their away strip.
-
That tackle reminds me of the takedowns in mixed martial arts. Is the technuique similar (for anyone who knows what I'm talking about)?
-
@liamrokocoko you are wrong, it was a RWC organised match, not an SRU one, they had the say over who wears home and who wears away. See scotland wearing white every other time we play you.

why are the top comments about the jerseys? LOOK AT DAT TACKLE ITS MAAADDDD!
-
Correct me if im wrong but i think it was because scotland were at home and they wanted to make sure that NZ did not wear black to give them a psycological advantage... pathetic really.
-
clever by the scots to wear similar shirts, see the score this year?
-
the kits thing was a joke. Scotland were not obliged to change their jerseys as they normally would be if they were the 'home' team. However, Murrayfield was technically Rugby World Cup territory for the match so that idea was out the window (the SRU did not organise the match; there were no bagpipes for the anthems for example)
in the normal run of things, Scotland would've played in white shirts and shorts.
besides, WTF are NZ thinking in having a change shirt of deep grey anyway?!?!

andy ellis is only in there because of his combination with Carter. I hate Ellis
The similar colour of the jerseys are a disgrace. How did it ever go ahead without someone saying "seriously, what's up with the jerseys?"
