I'm trying to get the point of having the Christopher porch scene in there. I assume it has to do with "has time rewritten every line"...but I'm missing the point. Can you explain it to me?

That's exactly the point. The house was supposed to be hers and Luke's...they remodeled and everything, but time "rewrote the line" because now she's letting Christopher in there, not luke.

omg....this is amazing. you captured their relatioship perfectly! I recently just watched the movie "The Way We Were" and...wow...you've done it! it's perfect! I applaud you.

The ending is perfect, as well! "you've got wings baby". to me, at least, that just feeds the whole oldies feeling of the song. i am truly at a loss for words....and that rarely happens to me...XD

Thanks! This is one of my personal favorites of all the ones I've done. I tried to play the part with them seeing each other in the street like the end of the movie and then I had to go back and finish on a happy note. I'm glad you liked the nostalgic feel. :)

I love how the "remembering" scenes are in b&w and the Current scenes (Season 7) are in color!

And I disagree with almost everyone else... I think the kiss with Chris on the porch is necessary. Its part of L&L story and what "The Way We Were" movie and song is about. Except it should have been in color... not opeck (idk how to spell that).

You know, I went back and forth about whether the Christopher scene should be in color, but ultimately I wanted the first scene in color to be Luke noticing her wedding ring so it would have a greater impact int he video. :)

beautiful... i absolutely loved it. everytime i see the movie i bawl at the end and after GG i always think of the scene where Lorelai calls Luke and leaves that message on his answering machine about The Way We Were... you did such a fitting tribute. fantastic job!!!
