News!

On 22nd October 2008 Boston Municipal Court Judge Thomas C Horgan imposed a one-year continuance without a finding in the case against Gregg Housh who had been charged with disturbing an assembly of worship and disturbing the peace at the Church of Scientology.

If Housh stays away from the headquarters of the Church of Scientology and if he does not re-offend in any other manner, those charges will be dismissed. If he does not abide by those terms, Houshs case could be put back on track for trial.

Legally speaking, charges against Housh were not technically dismissed. Instead he agreed to a Continuance without a Finding, which the Massachusetts Criminal Defense Resource Page explains as "an admission that "there are sufficient facts to find you guilty" of the charges."

Gregg Housh is the second member of Anonymous within a week who got slapped by Scientology in court. On 17 October the US State Attorney had informed the public that Anonymous member D Guzner was charged for his role in an attack on Church of Scientology websites in January 2008 that rendered the websites unavailable. Guzner faces up to 10 years in federal prison.

  • Damn! 2 Anons down... millions more of national and international Anons to go. I wonder how much CO$ had to dish out to get these American Anons to stay away from "church" property. I think CO$ should continue pouring time & resources into PR, high-rolling lawyers and security to try bringing down Anonymous! What a win for Anonymous! Thanks for letting us know that this Anon got off without doing time or paying restitution! Win if ever I heard one!

  • another scifag polluting the interwebs. Do the world a favor and buy a bullet and rent a gun. Apparently the best part of you ran down the crack of your mom's ass during conception. Anyone, ANYONE, who is your age and gullible enough to follow this fallacy of a religion, deserves he heart ache and destruction you're getting as of now. You're "religion" will fall, and is falling. Try harder to troll, this is laughable at best.

  • Scientology = misery & death. That's all you need to know.

HAIL XENU! SCREW THE BODY THETANS!

  • Miscavige has already been locked away in delusion for many many years :) Bubba will help him with that though!

  • I don't think Blubbard was a catholic. More a sci-fi obssessed habitual liar.
