US Interrogator in Iraq Says Torture Policy Has Led to Deaths of Thousands of American Soldiers
We speak with a former special intelligence operations officer who led an interrogations team in Iraq two years ago. His nonviolent interrogation methods led Special Forces to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the head of al-Qaeda in Iraq. He has written a new book, How to Break a Terrorist: The US Interrogators Who Used Brains, Not Brutality, to Take Down the Deadliest Man in Iraq. The publication date for the book was delayed for six weeks due to the Pentagonâs vetting of it. The soldier wrote it under the pseudonym, Matthew Alexander, for security reasons. He says the US militaryâs use of torture is responsible for the deaths of thousands of US soldiers by inspiring foreign fighters to kill Americans. [includes rush transcript]
Link TV; the best TV. Go Amy. Hopefully America is a little less unaware or uninformed because of people on your channel or others that are like-minded. People like you and John Whitehead should be the hero of every little kid in America. Their freedom, democracy, and future depend on someone to cut through the propaganda politicians or others utilize. Maybe Obama or the next president will put an end to human and civil rights abuses or violations for good. It is beneath our Constitution.

General Butler ratted out the Corps that tried to hire him to over throw FDR because he was angry that all the American wars were in support of Corp Profits in foreign countries
From the Spanish American war to the Boxer Rebellion!
I served in the US Military Service from Beirut to Nicaragua in the 80s; I saw it was a sham, (though I honestly didn't know it at the time)!

Gitmo is not entitled to habeas corpus & many have died during torture
New book by Former Gitmo Security Officer, Matthew Alexander, writes that our torturing at Gitmo is not only a heinous & useless abomination; it is in fact the direct cause of the deaths of over 3000 US Soldiers!
Why is there torture by Americans?
Likely these abominations of war & torture are merely an extension of the typical Americans brutal mind
