A tough talking Prime Minister Raila Odinga dared his perceived rivals to quit the Government if they were not willing to abide by Government decisions. In an apparent reference to Agriculture Minister William Ruto and a host of other leaders who have accused him of being dictatorial and callous especially over the Mau evictions, Raila said some leaders who were party to cabinet decisions were only using such incidents to make political capital.
And as if to rub it in, the Prime Minister charged that nobody was indispensable and that Government operations would continue normally even if some leaders resigned. Raila was addressing Parliament during the Prime Minister's question time during which he maintained that the implementation of the reform agenda agreed under the national peace accord were well on course. A host of MPs claimed that a sharp difference among leaders in the grand coalition was compromising delivery of crucial services to Kenyans.
Differences and disagreements are health BUT if they cripple the running of govt and its business as it's evident with the Imanyara bill then we have a problem!
