"But, but... the uncloak needs to be loud enough alert the enemy to prevent stalk-stabs."

No, because he who doesn't stay alert in the first place deserves to be rightly stabbed -- that's what the Spy's purpose is. The louder uncloak noise introduced in the Spy vs Sniper update only serves to alert lazy, dull-minded players who don't deserve any kind of sanctuary against a Spy who out-sneaks them.

This is some old, old footage from the good old days before some butthurt Valve developers, crying and upset at being terrible at their own game and dying constantly to enemy Spies, altered the uncloaking sound to work against the Spy class' designed play-style in the update over a year ago.
