New to DJing? Don't know your cart from your styus? Then we're here to help. We'll be adding new DJ tutorials all the time, teaching you the basics such as how to set up your turntable correctly, to how to care for your vinyl.

In this video we show you how to change a stylus, how to set up your tone arm correctly and what all the dials and switches mean.

For this tutorial we used the Stanton Diablo Cartridge - http://www.htfr.com/more-info/MR224477

And the Stanton T120C - http://www.htfr.com/more-info/MR224297

  • @HTFR... Great video on how to set up i really needed this you are very percise but wanted to ask you if you know where i can find those replaceable target lights for the stanton turntables i've been looking all over but i can't find any target lights that they say are replaceable, if you know where i can buy them please tell me where? thanks!

  • We sell a wide range of spare parts at HTFR, but unfortunately we do not currently stock Stanton target light replacements. I would reccomend looking at Stanton's website to see if they can arrange a replacement for you.

  • Can somebody private message me a link or show me something here of a good set to start with thats for vinyl and has everything you need?

  • @unisickle check out our DJ packages online - they come with everything you need and some even come with free packs of vinyl to get you started :)

  • I have a pretty idiot question but I have to know the answer, this turntable is able to use CDs? to make scratches for example directly from the track from CD? Please make me understand this fact. Thanks.

  • @whoisrikk1 This turntable does not play CDs. However you can link the turntable with your laptop or computer to play digital media with DVS systems that we sell on our website; I would reccomend having a look at intimidation touch, traktor, and serato to name a few.

  • Cam u use the Stanton t.120c for just casual lp listening?

  • @HTFR hey, im thinking about starting up, what do i need other than a scratch board in the lines of speakers and stuff. please help!

  • @unisickle Don't do that man. Spend some time researching what to get. Theres loads of DJ forums where this question has been asked lots. You better off investing in a decent pair of decks (ie technics 1210's), then if you don't like em you can resell them as they keep their value pretty well. If you but crappy decks you'll be stuck with them because they will just break. Depends what your going to be doing to be honest. If your getting in to scratching or mixing for instance.

  • you saved me thank you very much i'm a beginner to turntables but now there setup up correctly thank you friend

  • Hey mate. I'm going to buy a Numark ibattle pack.. I know its nothing special, it's my first set. Do you recommend this for a beginner ?
