how do you know where to place the different colors?

@colormecrazymom Understood. :-)

@colormecrazymom Thank you for writing. I, very carefully, pick back through all of my multi-color foiling work to touch up the colors. This means that I DO retouch the regrowth matching the same sections I have previously put into the hair. Tons of work, but the results are always worth it! And so are the very, very happy Clients! :-)

@honey86m I am more than happy to help you better understand how to formulate and mix hair color and how to apply those hair colors to achieve different desired end results as well as to create the depth and contrast envisioned. ... I ask that you please stay in touch... and if you can... find me on fb, as that is where I handle most of the Stylists I am personally training. It is my continued goal to help Hair Stylists and Cosmetologists like achieve the results you envision! :) Sharon Sovinski

Is Dimensional Highlighting the same type of method that you did in this video?
sticki3 1 year ago
@sticki3 Dimension means that there is a combination of highlights and varying lowlights placed within the hair. Dimension (depth) is created by PLACEMENT of the mid and low lights around the lightest color. So, yes, this is multidimensional because it is not just one color all over the head. When you decide to create multidimensional color, I highly suggest you first decide on the color choices and then on the placement. It is the colors and placements that create the dimension.
