  • Great result.,

If you are in the UK , please sign the e-petition to ban faith schools.

Google 'e-petitions' , its easy to find.

    Thanks.

  • @fekinel

    Done

    Thanks for that

  • @just1inchrist Oh come on. Firstly, the program was not aimed soley at catholics in the UK, it was aimed at the catholic church as a whole (look at the title). Secondly, it is not bigotry to discuss facts (facts that were agreed during the video). And thirdly, I suggest you do some research, there has been and will (I have no doubt) be more programs critisizing other religions.

  • You may say It was aimed at the Catholic church as a whole but look at the parcipants in this talk on the side against the proposition are all British ! ok tell me when there will be another debate on another religion and it's role in good no there will be none because the bbc is anti-catholic and see it as an easy target! Also most of those at the debate were obviously atheists secondly where is there evidence that there will be a debate of this kind concerning another faith ?

  • @just1inchrist The nationality of those against the motion, makes no difference to the content debated. Listen to what is actually said in the video. BBC anti catholic? This may or not be true. However, once again, it does not! alter the content of the debate. Just a quick BBC program search: Hardtalk - Ayaan Hirsi Ali - CRITIC OF ISLAM! I never said there would be another debate. I am not physic. I just said I have no doubt there would be.

  • @just1inchrist And yes I do agree with you, the catholic church is an easy target, for the reasons so clearly demonstrated in the video.

  • @freetheworldof

    Thanks

  • Not that it makes a difference on the final vote, but the final tally has 52 more people than the original vote.

  • @just1inchrist It wouldn't happen to Islam because anyone who spoke against Islam in an open forum could have a fatwa declared against them. Maybe you should take a page from your past and stop trying to be rational and debate Atheists and start threatening to kill and torture us. It is the only way your servile caveman fantasy of a faith has any chance of survival.

  • That certainly put Anne in her place didnt it!

  • It looks like people are finally beginning to wake up! The Catholic church is, and always has been, a force for EVIL in the world!

  • @08infidel Perhaps the U.K., the U.S., and the Catholic church have something in common that you might be failing to see? Perhaps they are all employing lies in order to attain the same end goal - power and money. Only difference is in the lies they tell. The U.S. is "spreading democracy" and the Catholic church is still desperately trying to perpetuate a myth that is not obvious only to the poorest and dumbest.

  • The same arguments againts the catholic church could be used againts the west. The U.K and my country the U.S has done some real evil acts in her history, the subjugation and exploitaition of other country is self evident throughout history and yet we just like to scapegoat the catholic church even though our own states have nothing to do with the catholic church. The root of the problem is simple greed, be it a atheist Stalin or a Catholic driven Cortez or a puritan Oliver Cromwell.

  • Fuck the concept of reversing the rules on contraception and family planning. Go to the damn root of the problem, which is that too many (ie num>0) are going off arguments from authority. Shouldn't matter what some fucker says, what matters is if it's useful and true. Those poor people not only need to understand birth control=good, but also that they need to think for themselves and not leave it to some fucking cult.
