@cbradioNSW a lot of radios coming out are based on cobra radios so it would seem. apperently my superstar 3900 is a replica of an old cobra.

midland's a good radio but i got a 35 dollar uniden and 20 dollar truck stop antennae that my buddies say is the clearest they've heard

It's a Midland and was a great choice. But If you install an amplifier on the cable antenna you'll have a world wide C.B. radio!

You're pulling in alot of signals.. what antenna is connected there? I used to have Tristar 777, Emperor Shogun and about 3 different Midland rigs. My antenna was a Silver Rod and a DV27 for mobile use!!

Channel 9 is for emergency communications only (police departments are supposed to monitor it). Channel 19 is the truckers' channel. Everything else is a free-for-all!
