The officials last night were a prime example of just how low the standards have slipped in the last few years. Several confusing calls culminating in the "Was it McPherson/Was it Bayrack" farce for the dissallowed 5th goal. The referee quite clearly gives the goal and I can only assume it was his linesman who waved it off. Admittedly it looks like an elbow was used but it was hard to say if it was with any malice. Regrdless it WAS Bayrack so why call Mcpherson? Bad officiating. Bril result !!
