Game now works both with DX9 or OpenGL, on 32 or 64 bit, Linux or Windows. Official release is planned soon. Windows new game.exe file already available for simple (copy->paste) upgrade against official version. More info in arx.parpg.net

I am sure now! I had 3 apple pies, when I went upstairs to arxtown I was with 4!!!
I had 6 bottles of water, now I have only one!
I had 8 heal pots now I have only 2 and I used none!!
I just used the cheat to get all runes in the beggining and I will live of magic and arrows :D (I spent all points on int and dex)
The game is too much fun, I cant wait for fixes or workarounds, my workaround is not count on items :D

Hi again! where can I talk about Arx Liberatis 0.1 bugs? I mean, I dunno if it is specific of liberatis:
> if I open a chest/barrel (non mob inventory) and it contains an item with the same ammount I have in mine inventory, then mine and chest's become the same item, and when I pick the chest item, my inventory item disappear D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D:
Nobody seems to be having this problem, I googled...
I updated to the latest arx svn, and it still happens.

@ProzacR oh, I expect it still runs on 32bit thats what I use :>
That is DX7? :O impressive work they did, all DX7 stuff I saw til today was too crappy, but Arx look really good!
I expect that with DX9, mods improving textures, bumpmap etc will be released, as content mod doesnt seem to be needed (unless someone think on a continuation of the story, that I havent finished yet btw, 1st time I play it...)

@thekhenthul now it runs without wine already on 64bit Linux, but with some big issues. They are being fixed. It will be both DX and OpenGL. DX will be upgraded from 7 to 9 most likely.

HI again, I saw it run natively, was a compiled elf based on winelibs as I understood, nice work! mostly because I was having several sound issues that are all now fixed!
Btw I still have a mouse problem of MouseLook when not using interfaces (inventory and etc, it should automatically disable, but I still have to press a key to enable it)
Also, do you think, now with the sources, that we could improve it; I always wondered why the magic drawing doesnt have the hand following it...

Will it run natively? I mean no need to use wine?
Can it be upgraded to new directx or will it be opengl?
It seems hard to find mods also, any tips?
