Thank you for bringing this subject to my attention. As you already know, I am a Muslim, and Islam teaches us to treat animals with kindness. As a matter of fact, it is forbidden for us to eat an animal unless it was treated humanely. That is why we eat Halal. We don't buy any meat unless it says Halal, meaning permissible on it. We do not shoot animals in the head. This causes horrible suffering for the animal. We instead go to the jugular vain so the animal does not suffer.

mlmbrowser, i understand that in the Islam animals are supposed to be killed in a humane manner, its the same thing with Kosher killing. But the truth is that its not always done that way. Due to low budgets, ignorance, etc, people are taking shortcuts and doing some horrible things. In fact Kosher killing has already been caught on tape as one of the most brutal methods of killing. Of course, no one wants you to know this; they prefer you think that it is always done properly.

THANK YOU for making your voice heard. I have been vegetarian for about a month now ( i'm only 14) because i've only recently been aware of this animal cruelty crap that i HATE. It all started with this video i mistakenly saw about these 2 IDIOTS who were being cruel to this cat, which included a shaking, trembling cat being shoved into a very tight cage, being taken outside, them pouring flammable liquid onto the cat through the cage, and then the cat being lit on fire, alive. Worst thing ever.
