Championships Every Year... This Is My Prize For Being In Band.... you can feel the air coming out of their horns... So Amazing... hence the "Amazing" Grace
Okay, so when my band went to a band event held at IUP, the IUP band performed for us. It was awesome.. and I fell in love with the drum line. :P While the band warmed up and then played Amazing Grace, the drum line was front and center. They started goofing off. It was absolutely hilarious... especially when the director turned around right in the middle of it, still conducting, and gave the whole line the death glare. Lol.
My first time listening to this since Heinz Hall. its so weird to know I will only be able to listen to this from the outside now, and never get to play it again.
@Denzendunc it's one of the ways they build a crescendo in a piece. they also do it for looks.
