Great version of this wonderful song. Still like Sinatra's better, but Johnny takes a back seat to no one.

Hell yeah .. this version is so so .. but kinda pompous music an strings in the background make it too much like sinatra .. The AMERICAN V version is beautiful an has such a brilliant vocal an power to it ... It is kinda a song about a guy looking back almost at the end of his life .. so the fact johnnys voice is more humbled with life an health probs on AMERICAN V just makes it better

Perfect, but I prefer the version from AMERICAN V. The later version has more power, but that's also great. I can't say why, but in my opinion is the song always better peformed by J.R. Cash than by Frank Sinatra.
