Yes it's indeed amazing that, after 25y which saw giant evolution in IT (including internet), the old serial MIDI interface is still doing great with his old DIN connector.. Yet we need more speed and channels. Will it be OSC, mLAN or HD? Too soon to say. Anyway, it's nice to see a leading sound engineer like you talking about music technology, the DVD collection promises to be very interesting.
