I found a review of this, which can explain many things in this movie, even that article tells about events involving the filming of this movie. If you watched "Baadasssss!" @trevez789 its about racism, drugs, destruction of society, the abuse by the power structure which control the police, searching for ones self. the things all should know about.

it's interesting to note that earth wind and fire actually did the song and the sex scenes with melvin van peebles were unsimulated. i was a kid when it came out and all you would hear on am radio was a woman "in the heat of the moment" scream: SWEET, SWWWEEEET BACK !!!! (which was cause for giggles in front of mama....)
