"We wanted a small organization that had a good team that could address our challenges in a very personal and focused way... We ended up with a great 9 minute film."
- Ben Cowie-Haskell, Assistant Superintendent, Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary
Stellwagen Alive is a nonprofit organization on a mission to preserve Stellwagen Bank and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary. The Stellwagen Sweep program was created to actively work with local fishermen to clean up abandoned fishing debris, ensuring both their livelihood and Stellwagen's health. Working in concert with Stellwagen Alive and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association's National Marine Sanctuaries, Vida was asked to produce a short film that could be used to promote the organization's mission and communicate the difficulties of addressing marine debris to a broad audience.
