I haven't lived in Scotland for a long time, so it's come as a shock to find out Rikki Fulton is dead. I used to love 'Scotch and Wry' as a boy.

I would like to add to your list of names, Pipe Major Tommy Shearer , one of the greatest pipers of the great Highland bagpipes. I really miss him and those mighty drones, the video is a great tribute, thank you so much .x

My heart breaks at this song. It's so about all the Scottish entertainers when I was growing up and listened to on the telly. It reminds me of family, friends, Hogmanay, coal fires, real tea, spotlessly clean home, closeness of family. It's all about childhood memories, which last a lifetime! R.I.P. To all past family, friends, relatives, neebirs and the Auld Yins! :(

Beautiful. This makes my spine chill. It has so many memories. They will never leave me. Here's to absent friends & family no longer with me. :(
