It´s a little hommage to my city and the tv tower. I like the tower because it is a fix point and can be seen nearly all over the the city. It´s build 1969 and 368,03 meters (1207,45 feet) hight

There was this joke that if the Fernsehturm ever toppled over, people could simply take the lifts to the West!!!
Of course, the Fernsehturm became even more infamous for the ironic cross-like light form when the sun shone bright on it. The late President Ronald W. Reagan brought this up in a heartening speech about the reality of Soviet-style Communism and the impact on the Christian faith.

I have been to Berlin last year, and like it a lot.
Your video clip of the Fernsehturm is superlative. Wish I could do likewise!
I loved the panorama from the Fernsehturm. It was probably the best way to see your beautiful city.
I once watched a documentary about the DDR and one of the issues it focused on was the development of the Alexanderplatz in the 1960s by Hermann Henselmann et al.
