@thedragonb0y Despite it being concieved in France, it was indeed actually animated in Japan. Dic outsourced their animation to Japan between 1983-1989 and then started using Korean studios. The animation quality suffered as a result, especially as they switched to computer animation in the 1990s. I preferred the 1980s look of the old Dic cartoons, and the music by Skuki Levy was always a treat.

I actually mistook Inspector Gadget as anime, but it's actually french so it's however you say chartoon in French. ^^;
