Land rover series 2 and 2a (part 2)

you will see the terible state of the chequer plating !its horid i know! and the work currently being done to the bulkhead protected by aluminium paint. The old girl is waiting for better weather so i can replace the back member in one weekend and have the body put back on asap. Hope you like looking at what i consider good looking cars like the rest of the series lr's on the roads.

Also for old 2a diesles, I'd highly recommend a McNamara diff lock in the rear with an F100 planetary carrier.

Worked well for me for the whole 12 years, and worked well for my Dad for 20 years before I got a hold of it. I still got it at the back of his place. Family heir loom.

Just perfect for a diesel 2a up hills, towing heavy loads, pulling trucks out.

I stiil got sitting in the back of Dad's place.
