  • After watching hundreds of knife YouTube videos for 4 yrs I have to comment on how cleaver and fantastic this video is. The video photography is the best I have ever seen and I loved how you used an outlined sheet for a size comparison of the most popular knives of all time and I loved the leather for a pocket clip demo. I hope you do more videos of all of the knives this way. The knife mfg's will be motivated to do a link on their websites to your videos. Keep up the fantastic videos.

  • @watchandcamera Thank you for your very kind words! I'm very glad that you like the structure of this video. This is more or less the format that is used for my knife videos. I'm always refining my review style to be as informational as possible. Appreciate you watching and commenting!

  • Sweet blade I have been considering it, I wisj it was a frame lock. Great slide show presentation, thanks!

  • @CHOSEN7X7 This would be awesome as a Ti frame lock! But I'm sure being BM the price would have skyrocketed ten folds lol. Thanks for watching, I'm glad you like the video!

  • I think one way of thinking about it is that no matter how many different patterns people come up with, there are a small handful of patterns that are tried and tested so will always be repeated. As a company, they opt to produce many variants as opposed to sticking with a small product line that is superb. Same can be said of any knife manufacturers I think.

  • @equusignis Very true! I guess from a business standpoint, they can't get too radical because the knife may not sell.

  • Hey I just recently purchased an Adamas. I was wondering, how is your blade centering? Mine is a little off to the left...

  • @darkchild57 Oh so true, thanks!

  • @darkchild57 I hear you and understand what you mean. A folder that big should technically be able to used in a survival situation. However, using a folding knife outside of its philosophy of use is kind of pointless, and results in a knife breaking. Realistically, it should be able to pry, yet it is just as easy to carve a wedge and use that for your splitting tasks ;). I carry a Benchmade Bedlam and I love it, don't see it breaking anytime soon.

  • @SexyParty154 I agree. But I know a lot of people who just want to use their folders a bit harsher. The 275 is so beefy that it's almost a shame not to be used hard. But the limitations of the Omega Springs are holding it back from that point possibly. You've made a good point, I'm considering doing a hard use test video when the weather here get's warmer. What's the point of having such a thick blade stock it doesn't have the ability to do any prying.
