Jason Whitlock speaks to Al Sharpton and Soledad O'Brien on April 13 after Don Imus was fired from CBS radio. He argued that Imus is irrelevant in the larger scope of the difficulties of today's African-Americans in the United States. Whitlock received national attention for his 4/11/2007 Kansas City Star article, "Imus isn't the real bad guy." http://www.kansascity.com/182/story/66339.html

  • Al Sharpton claims to be a civil rights leader in the African American community, yet he's clearly doing more harm than good. His message, instead of promoting equal rights through peace, love, and unity (i.e. great men like MLK Jr), he is promoting division of race through public outcries, blaming, and a total lack of compromise. Instead of working towards true equal rights where race doesn't even matter, he makes mountains out of mole hills and aims to erase the progress that men like MLK did.

  • @abovefilms Like Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton is a divisive, loud-mouthed, race-baiting asshole. He owes the Duke players an apology, and you owe yourself a third-grade education.

  • Sharpton ....typical nigger ...excuses, blames the white man ....fuck him

  • The saddest thing about this is you know 99% of black people agreed with Sharpton here. But think if it were a white girl who did that to black lacrosse players. Do you think Sharpton and Jackson would've been on the girl's side then? Hell no, no freakin way ever. They still to this day refuse to apologize to those young men for deliberately trying to ruin their lives while all the facts showed they were unequivically innocent. Fuckin hypocrites.

  • damn whitlock smacked sharpton in the mouth right here

  • Al Sharpton is not perfect but he does keep it real! I like him!

  • Looking back at when this first aired in 2007, comparing to now, Sharpton has really been very lazy lately in protesting against hip-hop. He has been more supportive of thug rappers than he has been, I have listened to his show from time to time. Imus really has learned a lot from that experience (Sharpton hasn't), more so than his previous remarks regarding making anti-Semitism and racism. He's no Morris Dees, but clearly his mindset has been changed for the better.

  • @jackieplanb Thats a pretty dumb question that you should know the answer to

  • I can't believe Imus apologized to this arrogant and insignificant media whore and his arrogant cunt of a daughter.

  • Obama is a socialist. He took over the automobile, mortgage, banking, and health care industries via legislation and regulation. Govt is expected to own 70% up from 19% in 2008.

. He stated that the tragedies of the civil rights movement was that the Supreme Court didn’t bring about redistributive change. watch?v=Sj4yIE9Dd90 He told Joe the Plumber in 2008, that he wanted to spread the wealth around. watch?v=PUvwKVvp3-o
