@GalinaRalyn i believe that you must consider each song the way it express you... if you believe that talks about freedom then it talks about freedom...if you believe that talks about relationships then it talks about relationships... It's the way you will understand it :)

@euzkatroika I love Evanesence... but "The Open Door", is hand down one of the most disappointing CDs I have ever owned. Of the I believe 13 tracks, there are maybe 4 or 5 songs that are good in 2 ways: the music itself is good, and the lyrics are good. other than that, there is (in my opinion) a major lack of talent in this albumn, Either the lyrics are grammar-school reject poetry, or the music sounds like its being played on a rusty bandsaw by someone who is beyond tone deaf.

Not really... The lyrics of The Open Door are VERY single-minded. All about her freakin relationship with the Seether dude, or about traditional gothic imagery inspirations common and almost all goth bands. - coming from a hardcore fan btw.
Amy Lee may kick ass, but she's a bitch and egotistical. Cristina is not only just as good, but an amazingly nice person. And Lacuna Coil as a whole is both dynamic and atmospheric. Evanescence held up the torch to them with Fallen only.

@euzkatroika, how is Evanescence a better band if Amy keeps on kicking the members out of her band? On top of that, she doesn't even enjoy herself when she's preforming!
