ain't nothing ever gonna go right ever in Zimbabwe and that is really sad, because that used to be the place to be, now well, does it need saying?

What makes it worse is that it does not look like a mistake, but rather a deliberate, calculated decision. How can you otherwise explain that the same thing is being repeated in South Africa. I have little doubt that for world leaders it was and still absolutely clear where South Africa is going to and what it is going to look like in 10-20 years and yet they do not intervene. The only conclusion that comes to mind is that the plan is to let it fail. But why?

Mugabe must be incredibly gifted and intelligent. His skills must be far above and beyond those of any other human being. How else could he turn a prosperous country into a toilet bowl in
about 30 years time? Not everyone could do that. We in the West sure made a dire mistake supporting him and letting Rhodesia fall. Sure, it wasn't a perfect country but they would probably be much further along today if he wasn't in power.

There are targeted sanctions against about 200 corrupt ZANU and government officials and their businesses. And even these sanctions are not UN endorsed. They are only by US and EU countries. This is why ZANU thieves, line Grace Mugabe can still travel to China and other countries. The poverty in Zimbabwe is not because of 'sanctions' that do not affect absolute majority of the people, but because ZANU destroyed private businesses and forced most of educated, productive people out of the country.

Once again, specifically for those who still does not get it: there are no sanctions against ordinary Zimbabweans. They can freely travel where they want. Compare it with sanctions against Rhodesia: Rhodesian passport has not been recognised by any country except SA. There are no sanctions against fair Zimbabwean businesses; they can freely export or import products. Compare it with sanctions on Rhodesia: all exports to Rhodesia and almost all imports have been fully banned by UN resolution.
You, my friend. Are incredibly brainwashed or stupid. Zimbabwe has nothing left to loot except the palace of Mugabe himself. He and his ZANU-PF party have released ads blatantly threatening death to anyone who opposed them, saying at the end "vote ZANU-PF and LIVE!" in addition to the fact that Mugabe has shown his willingness to bomb newspapers, and has a previous record of intimidation and frankly open war against other parties, Mugabe is clearly the culprit.
