This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO inspiring! Thank you!

Hihi, have you considered this method called the Fat Blast Lifestyle? (do a google search). My father in law says it helps people live longer. Thoughts?

If the hoop is bigger than 2 pounds, don't attempt hoopdance moves. Just start slow. Learn waist hoop, hip hooping, some halo/lasso, and move up. By that time you'll start knowing your hoop with familarity.

Awesome!! Keep rockin' it girl, you look amazing. I'm so glad that hooping has brought you so much joy. I hate being prevented from doing different moves due to physical limitations, so hooping makes me want to try harder to be more physically fit so that I can do all of the moves I want to do too. You've definitely inspired me to work harder to reach my hoop goals, thanks so much for sharing your transformation :)

I understand why you don't want to share this. It's kinda hard when you're not comfortable. I only just started hooping and it's partly because I want to be more physically active. Here's hoping I become skilled like you and lose weight too.

Thank you for shearing this with the world. You look amazing, and your inner beauty shines thru. Keep it up Beautiful! *Smiles* Take care

I'm not the OP but there are actually many technique videos on Youtube and a couple of places like Hoopnotica sell instructional DVDs. There are also some hoop dance websites that have lots and lots of technique/trick videos, just google for them.

This is amazing. I love to see how your body transforms and your technique improvement - and you look really joyful while dancing. How long do you practice? How many days a week?

thank you! It is scary putting myself out there, but I'm thankful for the hooping community because this video has brought nothing but positivity and support from everyone. (PS - congrats on the movin' and groovin' contest I LOVED your video, so playful and creative. I'd love to hoop with you!)

I have to ask... Around Min 1:43 or so you're using a little hoop - what is that? I have a small space so I need something like that to start out with maybe, any suggestions on hoops would be appreciated!
Great job, I've watched this sooo many times because your hooping is so good! I hope I can do half that well! I've been looking for some people to hoop with / learn from but ppl around here do it in stilettos? I may start with 'off body' hooping at first just to get used to it.Awesome video!

That is a mini hoop. I made it from 1/2 inch 125psi black tubing. For small spaces I'd definately recommend focusing on off body movements such as isolations, weaves, and rolls. On body hooping generally requires more room, if you can't go outside and you have a small space try practicing while standing on your bed (be careful). That would also help with balance....(as would stilettos LOL! Which is the only justifiable reason I can think of for such improper hooping footwear).
