At the Rock in Rio II festival in January 1991, a-ha shocked the international entertainment press by drawing an audience of 198,000 at Maracanã Stadium for their top-billed evening concert - a Guinness World Record for paying audiences.

@Leaves2Ink i want to join to this gratitude because i wasnt even born in the 80s and feel terrible for get into a-ha´s music just 3 months ago.i will never see them live,but i know that your great videos will be part of my life..and i want to say that you chris must be the fan that once morten said that was following them since the beginning through al the concerts,your stuff has the best quality and its incredible how much shows have you seen. a big THANK YOU for your work from argentina!

morten said that the reason they split in the ninetees was because they were sick of the way the record label were promoting them as teen idols, but guess most people didnt care about that image t cause their music was so amazing

Chris -- My sincerest gratitude to you for all your a-ha concert uploads.
One of my greatest sorrows is not having ever seen a-ha in concert live. The only time they were in Vancouver was in 1986, when I was too young to get my own tickets. Over the years, I couldn't manage to fly out to their other tours, not even during the 2010 farewell. A-ha's music has always meant the most to me, so not being there in person hurts all the more.
Your videos help soothe the ache. Thank you.
