Dear member
We are honoured to present another gathering occasion featuring three
distinguished speakers whose names you are already very familiar
with: Thomas Tong, Joseph Loh and Dr P K Lee. They are truly
luminous figures in their area of expertise. Please join us for a summer
afternoon of chatter, fraternity and knowledge.
A Midsummer Afternoon's Talk
Date: 5 September 2009 (Saturday)
Time: 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Venue: Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church
Joseph Loh is a visionary artist, poet, song writer and a 'Concept
Design' consultant. He is also a successful workshop facilitator and
business and personal consultant. Joseph read Psychology at university
and pursued graduate study in it. Later he earned his diploma from the
Ontario College of Art in Toronto.
Topic: Is all art quite useless, as Oscar Wilde exclaimed? Or is art a
collaboration between God and the artist, so believed by Andre Gide?
Then comes Picasso: 'There are painters who transform the sun to a
yellow spot, but there are others who with the help of their art and
their intelligence, transform a yellow spot into the sun.' You are bound
to be dazzled by Joseph's talents!
