  • El puas is my idol

  • @xxdonaldqxxx Sanchez already had became one of the greatest fighters in the history of the sport by the time he had died. He defended his title 9 times against 3 Hall of Famers (Lopez twice,Gomez, and Nelson) and had also beaten Juan LaPorte and Ruben Castillo who were both very good boxers. That's a pretty damn good resume, and he achieved at the age of 23 yrs old. 1.)Chavez 2.)Sanchez 3.)Lopez 4.)Olivares

  • cuantas peleas tienes de ruben olivares??

  • En su apogeo no hubo otro mejor que El Gran Puas

  • @dicks501 If Sanchez was not tragically killed in an auto accident at a very young age he may have become not only Mexico's greatest fighter but could very well have become one of the greatest fighters of all time world wide.

  • @ogacihc90 Boxing isn't just about skill, in that case, Finito Lopez and Miguel Canto are the greatest, but its also about Accomplishments, and the Mexican fighter who accomplished more in the sport is Chavez, my list goes like this, #1. Julio Cesar Chavez, #2A. Salvador Sanchez, #2B. Ruben Olivares,... Sanchez and Olivares are very VERY CLOSE, MANY PUT Olivares over Sanchez, and i wouldn't argue with that, with that said Sanchez is my favorite Mexican Fighter.

  • I would have liked to see Olivares fight Eder Jofre or Fighting Harada

  • i agree with you that he was a really good puncher and boxer but his punching power was not one punch ko with either hand like alexis arguello he was more of a break you down and knock you out with pin point acumalated punches
