Ha ha, well, I love the idea, but -- hey-- did she say they drink a lot of martini's? And then go? On the road?

@Synicade I agree with you, when I am camping with the sisters, I am still a mother, a wife, a daughter and a sister which is part of my identity. Laverne may have meant that many of us just leave all our troubles and responsibilities at home and concentrate on just having carefree fun. We all need to be able to do that; sometimes our misters join us for a trip and sometimes we take our pets. We even take our kids & grandkids on a trip also; that's a blessing, who we are does not hold us down.

Can't say as I disagree with her about calling AAA. Being able to pay the AAA membership fee is the action she took to enable her independence!
You go girls!

By the way:
Got myself a dinged-up single axle trailer of the Mystery Brand type (read: No clue as to what type/brand/year it is) for FIFTY DOLLARS and will be tackling it this summer. wOOt! :)

Synicade: May I refer you to the second half of my rebuttal to Superscoutman; also, "maturity" is the process of gaining wisdom, and wisdom is simply learning from personal experience and applying it to future endevors.

1)"Chessmastor": A) Watch yer language, kiddo; a foul mouth is a sure sign of immaturity.
B) The word is spelled "Chessmaster", with an "e"...

That's what you call deep East Texas accient
Superscoutman:
Any group of women without men, on purpose, is not automatically lesbian (get yer Cro Magnon voyueristic jollies elsewhere)
Menfolk, kidlets and critters take a LOT of looking after--and it's nice to get back-off time without 'em once in a while.

LOL she likes to be independent but would personally rather call AAA instead of change a tire herself.
