  • ah ha ha good demonstration vid Lol :) but combining major and minor notes is never good ( talking about the part at the beginning) other than that excellent vid! ive been using Lsdj for about 7 months now, and got the hang of things, made a few good melodies, but i also use other programs to create music, using a midi keyboard. if i can find, and use a converter will it work with a keyrig 49? thanks and PLEASE get back to me :)

  • if the keyrig 49 has MIDI out, then is should be fine :)

Thanks for the pro-tip with the notes, but I don't know much about notes!

  • great video!!! i'd like to see more of that shirt next time!!

  • It's my favorite shirt :)

    Thrift stores are great!

  • ah right thanks alot man :) so its basically for live stuff or if u want to get ideas etc?

i should be getting an lsdjmc2 at some point

how much did it cost you to make in parts?

  • not sure on the exact cost for parts, I bought enough parts for 2 and another project, which came to around 35 bucks if I'm remembering right.

The programmer is about 30 dollars to program the PICs.

+ buttons, LEDS, circuit board, power hookups like ~10 dollars

    Its an estimate!

  • very cool

  • i cant get it to work over here :/ got a arduinoboy hooked up and all i get is weird noises -_-

  • @succinctbeats Get it? "Bit"?

  • @nikishi42 there's no such thing as a minor note or major note kthxbye

  • @nikishi42

nothing wrong with accidentals as long as they're effective :)

then again, I really like dissonant music

it's not for everyone I guess.

  • microkorg?

  • 0:59 ... you had something there, it got lost at 1:11

  • i'm assuming you can connect any midi keyboard up to the mc2 module?

  • I'm guessing all those instruments are pre-made but how are you switching between them there?

  • @jakayboy check instructables
